Sushant Singh Rajput (21 January 1986 14 June 2020) was an Indian actor well-known for his roles as a character actor in Hindi cinema.
He was part of a variety of popular commercially successful Hindi films like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), Kedarnath (2018), and Chhichhore (2019). Because of his contribution to the field of film, he won an award called a Screen Award and was nominated for the Filmfare Awards on three occasions.

He was featured on Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list twice since 2017.
Rajput started an acting career following abandoning his engineering degree at the Delhi College of Engineering and beginning his career in the theatre business in Mumbai.
The actor went on to be featured in Hindi television serials. His first show of the season was the romance drama Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008) and then he was cast as the lead on the soap-opera Pavitra Rishta (2009-2011).
