Uriya Shavit is not what you'd expect in an editor and columnist at the Hebrew daily, Makor Rishon.

It's not that he doesn't wear a kippa. In spite of paper's reputation as a right-wing, pro-settler periodical, a number of its staff members, contributors and readers are not observant. Nor is Shavit's young age and even younger looks what sets him apart.
